Built More For the game
WHY MOXIE
Basketball has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I played collegiately, learned some of my biggest lessons through the game, and eventually stepped away.
Years later, I realized how much I missed it. I wanted to find my way back to basketball and give back to the game that had given me so much.
So I did.
What started as a return to the game quickly became a bigger idea. I wanted to create the kind of community I wanted around my own family. A place where young people could be coached hard, loved well, and challenged to become more both on and beyond the court.
That idea became an academy.
And the vision kept growing. Basketball. Mentorship. Education. Leadership. New experiences. A community of people invested in helping young people discover their gifts and see more for themselves.
Moxie became the perfect name for what I was building.
Courage. Determination. The willingness to believe there is something in you worth developing and go after it.
Moxie started with my decision to return to something I loved. Today, it’s becoming something much bigger: a community where young people and families can grow, connect, experience more, and dream bigger.
And we’re just getting started.
